MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - July 9, 2015 - PRLog -- The ONE Sotheby’s International Real Estate DS Team was showing a Miami Heat player one $8.9 million mansion for sale on exclusive Sunset Islands, owned by former NBA star Peja Stojaković.

There was one problem: the Miami Heat player’s wife was not able to attend. So after the showing, the DS Team sent her a visually stunning online aerial and 3D walk-through tour. http://www.aeriallook.com/property/1611w24st

The wife was impressed. Her reaction mirrors other buyers who have seen the technology currently being used by the DS Team to market select luxury properties in South Beach.

The aerial and 3D visuals are made possible by Aerial Look. A startup based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Aerial Look uses drones and 3D scanners to help luxury real estate brokers market their properties online through a more visually engaging platform.

Aerial Look’s digital fly-over and walk-through property “tours” are not just for Miami Heat players’ wives: the ONE Sotheby’s DS Team finds the service essential for offering a lifelike experience of Miami ‘s mansions, beaches and amenities to international buyers.

These buyers, who may reside anywhere from Argentina to France, often buy million-dollar properties without ever seeing them in person, explains Dina Goldentayer of the DS Team. Even for domestic buyers, she says, nearly everyone starts their property search online.

The digital competitive edge offered by Aerial Look could be a boon for the DS Team’s business. Over the last five years, international interest in Miami luxury real estate has grown, which Goldentayer attributes partly to exposure from media like HBO’s Ballers.

Using Aerial Look’s drone and 3D scanner-enabled digital services plays into ONE Sotheby’s active marketing strategy. Instead of waiting for interested buyers to call, the DS Team prefers to invest resources actively marketing their luxury properties to generate demand.

So far, the DS Team has utilized Aerial Look’s platform to showcase three properties, which range in price from $4 to $14 million. Goldentayer reports buyer reception as very positive.

Aerial Look’s global growth plans rely on brokerages like hers that are ahead of the curve. Robert Koenekamp, CEO of Aerial Look, states that “International buyers are very welcoming to a platform that enables them to make a more informed decision when purchasing real estate stateside."
