NEW YORK - July 8, 2015 - PRLog -- PUNTO Space teams up with Apple Motor Love to kick off the PUNTO Gives Back summer initiative to raise funds for Henry Street Homeless Shelter for Women and Children during the Circle of Love charity event and birthday bash on July 25, 2015, 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. The annual event is a timely match for the PUNTO Gives Back summer initiative, which endeavors to support meaningful causes and amplify social good, especially as it relates to visual and performing arts and education.  For ticket information please visit: https://squareup.com/market/applemotorlove.

Aahlee and Freddy LaBoy established the Circle of Love charitable cause in memory of the late LaTonya Holloway, who passed away of cancer in 1996. Henry Street Settlement, which is known to offer social services, arts, and health care programs to an estimated 50,000 New York residents of all ages each year, made it an ideal beneficiary for Apple Motor Love.

Aahlee LaBoy states, “My mother passed away of cancer on my birthday. Every day I honor her memory by giving back to others. I chose Henry Street Settlement because they help the entire family; they help the mother find employment and housing. I believe I was born to help others. I live to help my community. Helping others is necessary for the growth of the next generation.”

The founders of PUNTO Space are equally as enthused to help. “Henry Street Settlement was founded by a woman with a vision, and we are particularly fond of causes that impact women and children directly. We are in a unique position to be able to provide space so that people can come together to help each other. As performing artists who value social good, collaboration is a way of being for us, so this feels like an extension of who we are.”

Circle of Love will be hosted by Katrina Storm. Guests will enjoy a menu by Crave Caterers, art by Ido Siman-Tov, performances by Mislee Merritt, Silent Knight, and BLKJU, and a silent auction.
