Follow on Google News | Chicagoland Special Spaces Teams With Joliet Township High School & Adventist Lab Partner To ProvidSpecial Spaces, a non-profit organization that creates dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical conditions, will be conducting a bedroom makeover for Orland Park resident Ashley Gusta on Wednesday July 8, 2015.
By: Chicagoland Special Spaces To help complete makeovers, Special Spaces depends on donations from individuals, local businesses, groups and even other foundations. Ashley’ The Chicagoland chapter of Special Spaces was founded by Naperville resident Kelly Knox in 2012. Since its inception, over forty deserving children have gotten room makeovers. Knox has a full slate scheduled for 2015 and a waiting list is in place for many more children and families. Marlo Steinke, the new South Chapter director will be leading this makeover. This is the south chapter’s second makeover. The organization’ The Chicagoland chapter has room makeovers scheduled on a monthly basis for children in need.
