Gorman's Earns Five Design Awards

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - July 8, 2015 - PRLog -- As part of the 11^th Annual Detroit Home Design Awards, Gorman’s Home Furnishings & Interior Design has been awarded five design awards. The announcement was made by Gorman’s President Tom Lias.

Michigan’s style leader was recognized significantly for its work on three of the homes showcased at The Ultimate Homearama 2014 in Oakland Township, which was held from August 29 to September 21, 2014.

Gorman’s work was honored in categories, including:

-Traditional Dining Room

-Contemporary Living Room/Great Room

-Children’s Room

The first event of its kind in more than a decade, Homearama was produced by the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan. Visitors toured custom homes featuring the latest trends in home construction, interior design and landscaping by the nation’s top design talent. Home values ranged from about $2.5 million to $3.5 million.
