Hytrol Conveyor Announced David Peacock as President Beginning Last Month

July 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Hytrol Conveyor Co., Inc., an industry expert in automated material handling solutions announced last month that David Peacock began his tenure as President of Hytrol on June 1. Peacock was hired in September of 2014 as Executive Vice President and succeeds former Hytrol President Gregg Goodner. Peacock worked with Goodner, who was Hytrol’s president for over two decades, to implement a transition plan to assure a firm and seamless handoff of responsibilities.

“This is a very exciting time to begin my role as president,” said Peacock. “Hytrol is an incredible company. It’s the whole package: great people, great business partners, great business model and a great community.  My goal is to continue to build upon our heritage while making positive changes to position ourselves for the future.”

Since joining Hytrol in September, Peacock has been actively training in all areas of the business both internally and externally. He completed the engineering apprenticeship program, working through each area of production in the company and performing duties within most company departments. In addition to this internal training, he familiarized himself with Hytrol’s Integration Partner Network, traveling to over 30 integration partner locations in both North America and Latin America.

Peacock moved to Jonesboro from San Antonio, Texas. He has an extensive background in both leadership and manufacturing operations, including serving in the United States Marine Corps and holding progressively more responsible management positions with manufacturing and material handling companies. Peacock is married to Amye Peacock, who retired from the United States Air Force.
