SAN JOSE, Calif. - July 8, 2015 - PRLog -- This year, those looking for an alternative to crowded malls and overrun chain stores are flocking to the San Jose Harvest Festival®, happening November 27-29 at the San Jose Convention Center.

The San Jose Harvest Festival, one of the top rated craft shows in the United States, supports independent artists and craftspeople by allowing them to showcase and sell unique gifts which are all handmade in the USA. Attendees can meet the artists face to face and browse things like original art, jewelry, clothing, toys, home decor and more. Plus, many vendors at the Harvest Festival offer "Show Specials" and deals which can only be obtained at the event, and many gifts can be custom ordered or personalized.

Throughout the weekend, shoppers will enjoy continual live entertainment from acts like James Garner's Cash Tribute and Le Jazz Hot Trio and strolling performers such as Mama Claus, Eddie the Elf and Fables of the West will all be wandering the festival grounds entertaining patrons as they shop.

New this year will be a special series of Safety and Usage classes offered by TechShop. These educational seminars, normally valued at $90, will be available first come first serve for only $5. The classes will offer an inside look on how to use the latest technology to create arts and crafts projects. Those interested can sign up at the TechShop booth inside the Harvest Festival.

This year, the expanded, interactive KidZone will offer eco-friendly art projects, hosted by Nature of Art for Kids, as well as gingerbread cookie decorating, hosted by Gingerbread-On-The-Go. Plus, there will be free Child ID services sponsored by New York Life.

The Harvest Festival is proud to welcome back its official non-profit partner, Humane Society Silicon Valley. The animal welfare organization will receive  half of the proceeds from shopping bag sales and all of the proceeds from the bag and parcel check.

In partnership with Christmas in the Park and the Toys for Tots program, the San Jose Harvest Festival will offer a $2 off admission coupon to anyone who brings a new toy donation to the show. Plus, Christmas in the Park will be offering a free gift and special discounts to the first 100 people who stop by their booth each day.

The Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Shows are the largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast, boasting over 24,000 American handmade products.
