DALLAS - July 6, 2015 - PRLog -- DALLAS, July 6, 2015 – Empowering Women as Leaders (EWL), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women in achieving their highest potential through education, mentoring and networking, is pleased to announce its 2015 Board Members, their positions within EWL and their place of employment.

“We are thrilled to have these talented women join the EWL board,” said Gretchen Wirth, president of EWL. “They have already made significant contributions to the board and to our STARS, as most of them serve as mentors to our STARS in addition to their board duties. We mentor our STARS throughout their college careers and for two years after graduation, which sets our program apart from other scholarship opportunities.”

EWL currently partners with Texas Woman’s University to award scholarships for non-traditional students (over age 23) to obtain their degrees. Through partnership with TWU, just $1,500 will fund a recipient’s (STAR’s) education for an entire year. Learn more about EWL at www.ewlusa.org.

Founded in 2004, EWL awards women opportunities to pursue higher education through their STAR Scholarship Program.
