Chilled Logistics Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

NORTHAMPTON, U.K. - July 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Chilled Logistics https://www.chilledlogistics.co.uk/ are based in Northampton, UK and provide time and temperature sensitive transport services to customers in the food and pharmaceutical sectors.  The benefits of working to this internationally recognised standard include consistency in service delivery and being better equipped to meet customer needs.  It also makes it easier to identify areas for improvement and enables more efficient ways of working which saves time, money and resources.  These savings can be passed to customers.

In addition to this, the business aims to achieve Wholesale Dealer Authorisation from the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) in order that it will be able to store pharmaceutical products at the business premises.  "We are happy with gaining certification to ISO 9001:2008 but recognise the importance in giving customers assurance that we are compliant in other areas, especially for pharmaceutical consignments" says Roy Wingrove, who founded the business over 30 years ago.  Roy passed the business to Debbie and aims to retire but still helps out as it's a family business and he likes to keep up to speed with what's going on.
