USMEA Receives House of Representatives Recognition

WASHINGTON - July 4, 2015 - PRLog -- The United States Military Educators Association (USMEA) receives recognition from the House of Representatives.

"WHEREAS, as a nation we observe and participate in various national, cultural, and social awareness events; however, we have not always allocated appropriate recognition for an entity that impacts each and every American in a significate way - The Armed Forces of the United States of America; and"

"WHEREAS, the UNITED STATES MILITARY EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION has a distinguished record of public service and has made immeasurable contributions to active duty, reserve members, veterans, retirees, and their families in the State of Hawaii and throughout the nation; and"

"WHEREAS, the UNITED STATES MILITARY EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION has assisted countless active duty, reserve members, veterans, retirees, and their families in making an informed decision on their selection of postsecondary institutions of higher education and the best degree path, and it also offers a professional training program for staff and faculty members to foster improvement in the quality of service and support provided to military and veteran students by higher education; and"

"WHEREAS, the UNITED STATES MILITARY EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION strives to educate service members, and higher education institutions on the judicious use of government-provided educational benefits earned by those who serve, those who served, and their families; and"

"WHEREAS, the UNITED STATES MILITARY EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION is deserving of public recognition and the highest commendations for its remarkable history as a dynamic, purpose driven organization that has worked tirelessly to advocate for military and veteran support in the educational institutions throughout our nation, and that continues to strive to enhance the well-being and quality of life for all individuals that serves; now, therefore"

"The House of Representatives of the Twenty-Eighth Legislature of the State of Hawaii hereby commends and applauds the UNITED STATES MILITARY EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION for their exemplary efforts and extends to the Association its warmest aloha and best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors".
