Follow on Google News | Beadling SC is proud to announce 3 Region 1 Champions going to NationalsAs the oldest soccer club in the United States, Beadling enjoys a long record of success at the highest levels. Of the 13 Western PA teams who have won Regionals and moved on to the National Championships, 12 have been Beadling Teams. Beadling has produced 12 Regional Champions, 11 Finalists, 8 teams who’ve gone to Nationals, 75 Regional and 10 National Team players. 80 Beadling players have gone on to play professionally. The Beadling U19 Girls have enjoyed great success in their last three seasons.This is their third Regional Championship in consecutive years. Two players on the team are following their father’s footsteps- Arne Thomas, father of Macy, and Steve Thomas, father of Emma, played for the Beadling U19 team at the 1984 National Championships. For Beadling, success on the pitch is truly a family affair. After a convincing run of five consecutive victories against top Region 1 teams, the U18 Gunners take the next step toward achieving a National Championship. They won the Champions League and finish their season with a 20-0-2 record. The Beadling U16 Girls were undefeated in Region 1 and went 21-2-1 on the season.They were Champions League winners and allowed no goals in West Virginia. 45 of these players have or will go on to play at the collegiate level. Beadling is committed to providing the developmental pathway to all players to achieve their individual goals. Through the 1898 Futures and Training programs, players develop the foundation of skills needed to play at the highest levels “Beadling is incredibly proud of this great group of girls who are realizing their dream of competing for a National Championship.
