The movement, dubbed the “We Are American Challenge” is positioned as a public platform for causes, citizens, brands, celebrities, and leaders to talk about who they are, what they do, and what they believe in as Americans. Sociafy CEO, Michael Sim believes:

“a united voice from diverse backgrounds has the power to transcend cultural boundaries and humanize issues nationwide; allowing citizens to work on those issues together, as Americans.”

Sociafy will partner with a handful of causes and charities that represent American values and standards over the course of the campaign; encouraging collaboration and peaceful solutions among partnered causes in order to realize a common vision for American equality.

Sociafy’s first partnership with Robert Renteria and The Barrio Foundation will raise awareness and donations to help provide cultural leadership, inspiration, and education for American youths, minorities, and transitioning veterans. Funds raised for The Barrio Foundation will be used to accelerate the foundation’s initiative in reducing the increasing dropout rates, suicide rates, gang activity, drug abuse, and overcrowded jails among youths, transitioning veterans, and minorities. Event proceeds will allow The Barrio Foundation to put books in English and in Spanish into the hands of as many people as possible. Sociafy CEO, Michael Sim believes:

“Education is the key to success, and it must be made available to all citizens of this nation. We believe that though storytelling, we can find a common ground as citizens and embrace a single national identity; and when a common bond between Americans is formed, civic priorities can be reevaluated, and social change can become possible.”
