Originally from Kosovo, and raised in Germany and Boise, Idaho, Miss Haliti was crowned Miss Idaho USA in 2011. The Miss World America pageant is taking place in the District of Columbia with a week of competition leading up to the final pageant on July 3. The new Miss World America will represent the United States at the 65th Annual Miss World on December 19 in Sanya, China.
