Leap Books Acquires AVALANCHE by Denise Jaden

July 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Shannon Delany of American publisher Leap Books, LLC is proud to announce the acquisition of Canadian author Denise Jaden’s newest young adult novel, AVALANCHE. "Denise is a great author and a wonderful person who interacts well with readers and fans. I remember meeting her in New York City in 2010 when my own first book debuted and since then she's worked hard on her craft," says Delany.

Delany adds, "AVALANCHE is an exciting YA fiction novel that throws two kids who start out by being very unsure of each other into a situation many best friends would have trouble getting through together." The book was pitched as When Ellis and Dylan’s resort world and all of their hopes crash—literally—around them, they’ll need to depend on each other in order to survive.

Denise Jaden is, or has been, everything from a professional Polynesian dancer and fitness competitor to a mushroom farmer and church secretary. Most of her time now is spent homeschooling or playing with her young son or in front of her computer writing. Jaden has previously written LOSING FAITH (Simon Pulse), NEVER ENOUGH (Simon Pulse) and FOREIGN EXCHANGE (Evernight Teen).

AVALANCHE is scheduled to release in spring 2016 through Leap Books’ SURGE imprint.
