New Personnel Boost the Imetrum Team

BRISTOL, U.K. - July 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Imetrum one of the world’s leaders in the field of video-based, non-contact precision measurement is pleased to welcome three new members to its sales team.

Simon Jenkins joins the team as Consultancy and Applications Engineer with particular responsibility for delivering measurement projects and providing technical leadership. He brings with him a wealth of expertise having worked as a principal engineer at BAE Systems’ Advanced Technology Centre where he specialised in materials and photonics. With over a decade of camera based measurement experience, combined with delivery of award-winning projects, Simon will provide exceptional technical, application and sales support to customers and partners worldwide.

New Sales Engineer Craig Pick has vast experience working in the test and measurement market and at Imetrum is tasked with managing routes to market as well as identifying new opportunities for Imetrum’s technology.

Mungo Morgan has been appointed in the role of Applications Engineer. Mungo will be delivering training through the Imetrum Academy, as well as supporting customers remotely and on site. He has had a wide-ranging career in the engineering sector, including extensive experience with sensors and supporting international customers, and is particularly looking forward to the hands-on aspect of his new role.

Note for editors

Imetrum’s product now has over 300 users worldwide and is a versatile, non-contact video based system that allows the user to test a variety of important parameters (strain, rotation, displacement etc.) in real time, in a single test. As the Imetrum system is video based, a record of the test can be saved so engineers can either post process the test or complete further analysis without the need for repeating the test, saving both time and money.
