National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc. Presented Author Tia Hines as the Honoree Speaker

NEW YORK - July 1, 2015 - PRLog -- On the evening of June 30, 2015 the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc. presented the Love + Politics lV event located at Times Square, The Attic, 251 W 48th Street, New York, NY 10036 in honoring activists, celebrities, and politicians for their caring efforts in bringing awareness to HIV/AIDS.

Event Partner, Celestial Caring Enterprises along with client, Honoree, Tia Hines, Author & Activist were proud to join the other Sponsors,  RCA and CURLS; Partners, Manhattan Borough President, Gale Brewer, National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (NBLCA), Housing Works, Empire State Medical Association (ESMA) and Human Intonations #beHIVsure; Media Sponsor, NV Magazine; and Honorees, Ritchie Torres, NYC Council Member; Carine Jocelyn, CEO, Diaspora Community Services in recognition of National HIV Testing Day.

On June 27, 2015, in honor of National HIV Testing Day, Celestial Caring Enterprises and Essence Magazine Bestselling Author, Tia Hines encouraged many to get tested for HIV that causes AIDS. The National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc. gave away 50 signed books of, "That Girl is Poison" by Hines to continue encouraging the young generation to get tested. Gift bags were distributed by the NBLCA.

Love + Politics lV was a free event inspiring New York City young professionals to take a stand for HIV/AIDS prevention from 7:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Hines was at the Press wall at 7:45 PM and Felecia Webb, National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc. introduced Hines and presented her award. Hines gave her speech at 8:40 PM at #LOVEANDPOLITICS.
