Bornstein & Song Conducts FSSI National Survey for GSA Schedule 75 Office Supplies Contractors

This Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative (FSSI) National Survey will assess the displacement of small business and the resulting job loss on the U.S. Economy since the inception of the FSSI in June 2010 to June 2015.

OAKHURST, N.J. - July 1, 2015 - PRLog -- The Bornstein & Song FSSI National Survey will attempt to contact all GSA Schedule 75 Office Supplies Contractors in an effort to evaluate the impact of the first FSSI which was implemented in June 2010.

Now that the FSSI for Office Supplies Third Generation (OS3) has been fully implemented since January 2015, we intend to determine the full impact of the FSSI on this Small Business Federal Government Contracting Community. The key issue is to address the number of jobs which have been lost due to the FSSI.

Bornstein & Song has conducted FSSI National Surveys for GSA Schedule 75 Office Supplies since inception in June 2010.  The Surveys have consistently revealed that the FSSI has resulted in significant and irreversible damage to small business, jobs, and the U.S. Economy.

The Survey data will be used to estimate the Economic and Social Costs of Job Loss in the Cost-Benefit Analysis of the FSSI.
