Xinoe Provides Summer Training: Leads The Way In Creating Industry-Ready Talent Pool

GURGAON, India - July 1, 2015 - PRLog -- In India, given any technical university, the difference between the academia and the practicals seems to be long drawn, with many in favour of a drastic change, but to no avail. However, the past few years have been quite harsh for engineers in the country. Many have started believing that a technical or an engineering degree no longer remains a way to a lucrative career. The problem lies not in pursuing the course however, but in the fundamentally weak practice of colleges and universities not giving due importance to practical and industrial assistance.

Xinoe Systems Private Limited, has however took a leap forward to bridge this gap through its unique summer training collaborations with the likes of premier institutes like G.L.Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida. This tie up has been receiving positive feedback and accolades from all corners for leading by example. The Summer Training Program incorporated basic and advanced level pedagogy by the technical expert team at Xinoe, in the fields of Wireless and Internet of Things. The program which started early in the month of June, got completed successfully on June 27^th. Both of the chosen topics for training are quite in demand in the industry when it comes to Electronics and associated domains of study.

Dr. Amit Sehgal, Head Of Department, Electronics and Communication Engineering, congratulated Team Xinoe on their efforts. “Industrial exposure these days, is a much-needed skill an undergrad must have, if one wants to make a mark early in career”, said Dr.Sehgal. The guidance of industry level trainers can motivate the students to take up their subject of interest and build over the knowledge acquired during the entire graduation program, so that when they are ready to join the industry, they are

actually aware of the needs, areas of improvement and individual contribution.

“Making soon-to-be-engineers industry ready is not an easy task. Hence all the endeavours undertaken in this direction are appreciable. We need more such efforts to create that talent pool which is ready to be taken up by the industry immediately”, as told by Mrs. Manju Khatri, Director, Training and Placement at G.L.Bajaj. The training program complied with the latest modules in Wireless and IOT technologies and imparted key concepts to students in these two disciples of study. “Students were highly enthusiastic about attending the training program since day1. What was even more motivating for us was their hardwork and sincerity that took us by surprise, considering the fact that most students take their semester breaks for granted and don't really utilize them”, shared Mr. Danish Mehdi, trainer-Wireless technology.

The program was broken down into sessions of theoretical study, followed by practical implementation. Both the sessions were complete with one-on-one interaction with the trainer so that students don't go back to their homes with doubts clogging their minds. Students were provided complete kits to practice on and see if their ideas are implementable or not and were encouraged by the training faculty to clear their queries and think innovatively. Mrs. Vradha Panchal, trainer- IoT technology, said “ The institute rightly motivated students to enroll for the training program as industry often suffers due to lack of quality resources. Therefore, we wanted to start a program that provides guidance to students in the form of in-house training i.e. in their college premises, so that more of them can benefit from the program”. In totality the program turned out to be a grand success bothways, opening many avenues for future collaborations of the company and the Institute, working in the direction to a bright future for students .
