LONDON - July 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Quireboys Founder and inspirational songwriter, Guy Bailey, launched the eponymous debut album from his brand new project Thirsty.

The inspiration for the album derived from unique songwriting collaboration between Guy and a Russian Poet Irina D. Irina's poems provided the original lyrical concept and idea for each song, which Guy then adapted, shaped and set to music. Each of the ten songs tells the listener a story – mostly true and from the darker side of life – in three minutes or less.

The project gained significant momentum with the support of Chris Kimsey, whose unique gifts and sensibilities helped to shape the tracks into a complete and finished body of work. And the result is a great British album grounded in the classic pop/rock format with thematic elements from prog, arthouse, psychedelic and alternative music.

The album was recorded with the help of some of England's most accomplished rock musicians, including: Simon Hanson, drums (Death in Vegas, Squeeze); Chris Johnstone, bass and keyboards (The Quireboys); Lynne Jackaman, backing vocals (Saint Jude).

"Fantastic Album! Thirsty's dark beats and darker stories get you hooked and leave you wanting more" - Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones, INXS, Peter Tosh).

"Gloriously disheveled" - Phil Alexander (Editor-in-Chief, MOJO).

The album "Thirsty" is now available digitally (on iTunes, Amazon and other major platforms) and on CD with exclusive brochure as well as limited signed edition and can be ordered via Thirsty's website http://www.thirstymusic.co.uk

Thirsty's latest videos, including for its last single, Flawless, are also available on its website as well as Youtube (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1TlgfQW8V9s).
