The World's Fastest Growing Sports Organization Comes to Alabama

NEW YORK - June 30, 2015 - PRLog -- With thousands of sports camps, clinics, tournaments and conferences taking place across America each year, it’s time to establish an interactive network and community that serves both major event organizers and coaches alike. A mutual platform where coaches from all sports can search and sign up for events and tournaments to showcase their teams and players; and tournament and event organizers can register and promote their events to those same coaches.

Welcome to the International Association of Tournament Directors and Coaches—or, more simply, IATDC!

IATDC is a non-profit organization that was founded for coaches and organizers around the world. With more than 400,000 coaches and tournament, clinic, camp and conference organizers in its database, IATDC is fast becoming the world’s largest network of its kind. IATDC fills the communication gap between coaches and organizers, bringing all of our key stakeholders together on a single platform where they can better work together to create mutual opportunities across a wide range of sports events, businesses and ventures.

“We work with coaches and tournament, camp, clinic and conference organizers on a regular basis,” says Tina Johnson, Executive Director of IATDC. “Along the way, we’ve heard over and over again that their biggest challenge was finding out about each other. Coaches want their teams and players to participate in tournaments, camps and clinics, and attend conferences that will help develop their knowledge base. Unfortunately, there’s no one go-to source where they can access all the information they want.

“We wanted to eliminate their search effort, which takes up time and effort, and give coaches one place where they have easy-access to all the sporting events they want to participate in,” says Johnson.

As a member of IATDC, coaches can view all the events in the calendar year, and bookmark the ones they’re interested in attending. With full access to the member directory, they can also message other coaches or organizers to further expand their network. For organizers, IATDC works in much the same way, allowing them to list their events on our global platform, and promote them to a network of coaches who would be interested in participating.

“IATDC is changing the way coaches and sporting event organizers are connecting with each other,” says Cara Kepler, Director of Membership Services for IATDC. “We’ve opened up channels of communication and opportunity for this community that didn’t exist before now.”
