Marshall Barnes Exposes Cris Putnam In New Hawking Book As A "Physics Phony"

YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio - July 3, 2015 - PRLog -- "Look, don't preach to me like I'm some kind of frickin' wannabe and then hand me pure marlarkey,
like I'm too stupid to be able to read it, and have the audacity to think you're walking away unscathed. ".

That's Marshall Barnes' response as to why he's attacking Cris Putnam in public and in his new book, Space Warps and Time Tunnels: The Infamous Legacy of One Stephen W. Hawking, officially launching July 4th on the 3rd anniversay of the Higgs Boson discovery. In the last chapter, Marshall follows the development of public concerns about the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in the wake of Stephen Hawking's declaration that the Higgs Boson could destroy the universe and, if CERN isn't careful, their high energy explorations of the subatomic world could trigger a catastrophic explosion in the Higgs field ending the universe. This story was picked-up by the Christian conspiracy crowd, minus a very important part - Hawking stated the likelihood of it actually happening was nil. That hasn't stopped them from incorporating Hawking's name and partial statement into their ever widening tale of the LHC conspiracy.

A whole swath of Christian conspiracy theorists and "apologists" jumped on the 'LHC is a demonic machine' bandwagon, encouraged by an agent provacatuer calling himself "Mark from around the world", a possible take off of the moniker of 1990s militia leader Mark Koernke, known as "Mark from Michigan". An explosion of Youtube videos posted by an endless wave of neo-Christian lunatic fringe, claiming things like time is a creation of the devil, scientists plan on using the LHC to open the gates of Hell, or a portal to Saturn or even kill God, and dark matter at CERN is driving researchers crazy.

"The whole dark matter thing is when I knew 'Mark from around the world' was a liar," Marshall says confindently. In Space Warps and Time Tunnels (see http://www.blurb.com/search/site_search?search=space+warp... ), I show he makes statements about anti-matter and dark matter and I double checked, and what 'Mark from around the world' said was false and yet he spoke as an expert with behind the scenes information."

But what got Marshall angry and deciding to add a chapter to his book about the CERN conspiracies, was the behavior of Cris Putnam.

Putnam's conflict with Marshall began when Putnam appeared on Coast To Coast AM relating how scientists at CERN were talking about making openings to other dimensions, possibly parallel universes. Knowing CERN's history of technical exaggeration from past experience, Marshall posted a message on Putnam's website message board on how statements attributed to CERN personnel in the media had to be taken with a grain of salt, which would negate the conclusions Putnam was coming to. But Putnam began responding as if he knew more about portals, wormholes and parallel universes than Marshall, who has spent more than 20 years studying parallel universes and has been successful in apparently opening micro wormholes through which he has been able to beam RF amd IR transmissions, where upon they have disappeared to somewhere else, possibly the past. You can tell Marshall has the knowledge, when he points out major flaws in Putnam's thinking.

"He actually said 'You seem oblivious to the possibility that something (Or someone) on the other side could use such a small tear to facilitate their technology. Unless you have an exhaustive knowledge of parallel universes, then you don't have much of a point' but what Mister Smarty Pants doesn't get is punching some hole - if they can even do it, doesn't mean it will appear in an universe next door into someone's living room or lab. Without targeting or some kind of guidance system, which CERN doesn't have, they'll hit empty space before the hole collapses again. It'll collapse because they don't have exotic matter to keep the hole open and they don't have my Verdrehung Fan™ technology either, which solves the problem. That's just one of the stupid, ill informed comments Putnam made".

"Putnam seemed to have this attitude he knew so much more about it than I, which is not what you do in science. You ask questions to find out what the other person knows, you don't just start acting like they're beneath you. By the time he started telling me what I apparently don't know about this and obviously unaware about that, I was fairly ticked-off since his inferior knowledge of the subject compared to mine was fairly evident. Then I read papers he said I wasn't aware of and they didn't support his position at all. That was the last straw. Here he is claiming to be a Christian and he's misrepresenting his knowledge as well as the facts in question. That's when I decided this whole CERN conspiracy thing, as well as Cris Putnam, needed to be exposed as the crap it is."

To make matters worse, Marshall had a link to his C/V professional page (see http://lanyrd.com/profile/paranovation/bio/ ) in his name because Putnam's website is set-up so name's can be linked to websites. It's clear his name forms a link and all Putnam had to do was click on it to see who Marshall is. When Marshall responded to Putrnam posting links to papers that didn't support Putnam's position, the website was rigged not to accept Marshall's post so it appears on the site that Putnam won the debate. Marshall has made screen copies of their conversation so it's impossible for Putnam to change what was posted or describe it any other way and get away with it.

"The bottom line is Cris Putnam was treating me like a moron and passing the wrong papers off as if he knew what he was doing. He claims to be a Christian yet he lied to me repeatedly and had the arrogance to pretend that he knew what he was talking about, thinking he was going to get away with it. Well, he's wrong. I think he read about the Verdrehung Fan™ and saw my background and realized that I threaten the entire thread of the LHC conspiracy. If I'm already opening micro wormholes successfully and none of the crazy things they say  will happen if CERN does it, are happening, there goes their whole conspiracy theory, or at least a big part of it.".

Marshall is turning toward exposing Putnam's actions and also the falsehood of the entire LHC religious consipracy theories promoted by Tom Horn, Steve Quayle and others.

"There are so many scientifically flawed things they expound, it's obvious they don't know what they're talking about and don't care. It's my area of expertise I lecture on. The problem is there's people who read or hear their crap and actually believe it, when they shouldn't. To me, it's a problem. If I don't let Stephen Hawking get away with it, I'm certainly not cutting Cris Putnam any slack".
