Critically Acclaimed Hip Hop Artist, S.P.O.T., To Release New Record This Month

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - June 29, 2015 - PRLog -- On June 30, the up and coming hip hop and rap artist, S.P.O.T., will be
releasing his newest effort, ‘The Extended Player.’ The new endeavor
is a follow-up to S.P.O.T.’s critically acclaimed albums, ‘The Album
Called A Mixtape,’ and ‘ The Duets.’ His junior effort is a seven-track
collection of eclectic soundscapes and dynamic, compelling lyrics.
Lyricism remains important to S.P.O.T. above all else, hence why
the new album will be available with full lyric sheets so listeners can
follow along with the songs. (Essentially mimicking what made liner notes so wonderful in physical media.) S.P.O.T. sees being an M.C. as an opportunity to communicate with the world and make a difference. He believes that being an M.C. is a blessing because everyone isn’t given the ability to express themselves through song. “An M.C. still holds its authentic purpose, which is to move the crowd, but I would like to do this physically, mentally and spiritually,’ he explains. S.P.O.T.’s record label, Down 2 Earth Records, is handling the distribution of the new release. This new, groundbreaking record is his first in quite some time. It features an array of some of the hottest independent producers in the scene right now. ‘Masterpiece,’ the single for the release, will be available midway through June.
