AMI Announces Release of Vapor IoT™

LAS VEGAS - June 29, 2015 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS –Today, AMI™, a Las Vegas, Nev. based IoT (internet of things) solution provider, announced the release of their newest product, Vapor IoT ™.   Vapor IoT is the newest generation of AMIs Vapor products.  AMI has been providing IoT solutions for the industrial marketplace for the past 8 years and has emerged as a leader in this space.  The company provides solutions that allow for monitoring, control, alerting and reporting from any mobile device, anywhere in the world, across multiple market platforms.  AMI provides IoT solutions for water, waste water, oil and gas, agriculture, pumping, HVAC, sensors, probes as well as other industrial applications.

Vapor IoT includes multiple communication protocols including secure cellular (encrypted proprietary cellular protocol developed by AMI and available in 108 countries around the globe), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 900MZ radio.  Additionally, the Vapor IoT has a built in relay that allows users to start/stop equipment remotely.  The product allows for flexibility in the equipment/devices it can monitor by allowing for a total of 8 inputs (6 digital and 2 analog).  Additionally, Vapor IoT has a battery backup which allow it to continue to monitor and communicate during power outages or equipment failure.
