On July 11^th, healing artists are invited to join The Love Tour and its partners at Queen Afua Wellness Center Presents: The Love Tour New York, at 964 Park Place, Brooklyn, NY, 11213 from 4 pm to 6 pm. Versandra Kennebrew, founder of The Love Tour: Raising the Vibration, believes healing artists can make greater strides in their careers and their personal lives when they engage in daily self-care activities and teach their clients to do the same. She learned to follow this model after giving so much of herself that she experienced burn-out and ultimately became homeless when she was a budding massage therapist. “The life challenges healing artists experience are no different than everyone else,” Kennebrew says. What is different is the skill set and tools healing artists learn while studying their perspective trades. The Love Tour is a reminder for holistic health professionals to use what they have learned in school for the betterment of all humanity.

“I Love Me: The Ultimate Self-Care Guide for Healing Artists,” is the title recently released by Kennebrew and her co-author Akhenaten S’L’M-Bey. In this self-care guide, the authors help readers see how self-care is in fact an act of self-love and shows how easy daily acts of love can be merged into one’s lifestyle.
