DoUknow: Camping Essentials, its quite simple and cheap

TORONTO - June 29, 2015 - PRLog -- And fun — can’t forget fun! Here are our doUKnow tips to get you in the know about everything you’ll need for that camping trip!

Keep this in mind when you are trying to convince your friends to join in on the camping trip: It’s like having a huge bbq and party, while being one with nature somewhere beautiful. It will probably be the most quality time you guys would spend together as a group, as you would actually be enjoying each other’s company instead of shouting over loud music at a club or something. And, to top it off, there is a good chance there will be little to no cell service, therefore you are forced to actually talk to each other. I know... what are you going to do about all those instagram pics and snap chats that you could be posting? Guess they’ll have to wait!

There are a few things that you need for camping trips that you are not likely to forget: Tent, sleeping bag, and a large cooler with food and drinks (obviously). But then there are other things that tend to be forgotten.

Water.. and lots of it!

And we don’t mean just to drink. Remember you need water for lots of things. Bathing, washing dishes, cooking and brushing your teeth, just to name a few.  Stock up on lots of water, you can never have enough.

Bug off with Bug Spray!

It seems like this is the item everyone seems to always forget to pack. Yes, you will be in nature, which does mean there will be bugs (and lots of them). Brings lots and lots of bug spray. And use it! P.S don’t forget the After Bite too, for the times you do get bit!

Rolls and Rolls of Paper Towel & Toilet Paper

Toilet paper is pretty obvious.  In a nut shell, you’ll need it! Paper towels can be used for napkins and all sorts of clean up tasks. Rolls always seem to blow away, fall on the ground and unravel, or just simply disappear. You’ll always make use of these items, make sure not to forget them!

Dress for the weather!

Yes indeed, it may be really hot during the day, but chances are that at night time it will get pretty cold. Make sure you pack long sleeve pants, sweaters, and a light jacket. And socks... my goodness do not forget socks! You can never pack too much clothes.

Rain Gear

Okay I know it’s the last thing you would want to hear, but you have to be prepared! As much as we think the weather forecast is correct, things can change pretty quick. Ensure you bring lots of tarps to create shelter and to protect your tent. Pack some umbrellas and perhaps a rain poncho too! It’s better to be safe than sorry!

These are the basic essentials to help you when gearing up for your camping trip!
