Catholic Charities of West Tennessee Announces Grants to 3 Organizations

 
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - June 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Catholic Charities of West Tennessee announced today that grants in the amount of $2,366 each have been awarded to three organizations in West Tennessee.

The grants were awarded by Catholic Charities of West Tennessee's Jackson Deanery Development Committee  and support ecumenical, non-profit organizations located outside of Shelby County.  The Jackson Deanery Development Committee is comprised of volunteer representatives from Catholic parishes in West Tennessee.  Funds for the Jackson Deanery Development Committee Grants are collected by the 47 parishes of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis, which includes all of the 21 counties west of the Tennessee River.  “We are pleased to be able to pass along these proceeds, as well as the good wishes of the people of our Diocese to these worthy organizations” said Mike Allen, President and CEO of Catholic Charities of West Tennessee.

This year’s grantees are:

FYI Clinic - Camden, TN
Project Help of Henry County - Paris, TN
RIFA - Jackson, TN
