Criminal Case Dismissed for Son of LAPD Officer After Misconduct and Perjury By Pomona PD

Mag Seeget Prevailed Against The Allegations of A DUI Charge and Refusal After Arrested By Two Pomona Police Officers With A Lengthy History Of Mistreatment Toward LAPD

POMONA, Calif. - June 26, 2015 - PRLog -- After the jury deadlocked 9-3 for not-guilty, a mistrial was declared and the District Attorney dismissed the charges against Max Seeget.  In his defense of a Driving Under the Influence charge, he revisited the history of misconduct attributed to his arresting officers.  Two years ago, Pomona Police Srgt. William Tucker and Officer Eric Hamilton falsely arrested and beat an off-duty LAPD Officer and former U.S. Marine, Sergio Arreola. He was acquitted in trial for assault on a peace officer and then successfully sued the Pomona officers in Federal court.   Officer Hamilton was accused, in this case, of committing perjury.

“It is my opinion that Officer Hamilton falsified a police report and lied on the witness stand, both felonies.  The jury agreed and all 12 of them indicated that they disregarded his testimony.  Max and I are overjoyed that this matter was dismissed.  I will be filing a complaint with Internal Affairs and this time I hope the Pomona Police Department does the right thing and fires this corrupt cop rather than cover up his behavior as they did with the Arreola case,” said attorney David D. Diamond.
