Can Weather Apps Tell You The Indoor Temperature?

TORONTO - June 24, 2015 - PRLog -- After visiting the beautiful Schlosspark Charlottenburg in Berlin in winter 2012 an idea of a tool that would help in planning struck. This is how it went….. At the entrance the innovator took out the jacket and gave it to the checkroom. The palace is one of the largest buildings, extended in length in several stages. The innovator at first enjoyed the beautiful architecture and interior design, however it become cold and cold, such that it became hard to enjoy the visit anymore, it is at this point that he ran to the exit to take get the jacket.

After that, the innovator thought “what if I knew the temperature before visiting the palace,” He could have planned it better and ensured that the whole event was fun. It is possible to have a rough idea of outside temperature based on the weather apps.  This is not the case when it comes to the temperature of inside buildings. That’s why the “QTemp” was created. It uses Near field communication (NFC) technology to turn a smartphone into a smart thermometer. Users just need to tap it in their smartphones and the exact temperature of where they are will be displayed on their phone. The measured temperature and the position can be easily shared with SMS or on social networking sites.  A map will be generated which shows the precise temperature of inside and outside of public spaces like theaters, museums, hospitals, parks and plazas.
