American Advertising Federation Greater Frederick Presents Annual Maven Awards

FREDERICK, Md. - June 24, 2015 - PRLog -- AAF Greater Frederick (http://www.aaffrederick.org/) (AAF-GF), a local chapter of the nation’s oldest national advertising trade association, is proud to announce this year’s lineup of Maven Award winners. The Maven Awards are an annual program sponsored by the AAF-GF to recognize the unsung heroes of our creative community – the people who go above and beyond and work tirelessly to make sure our industry is putting out the best work possible that not only represents each other, but our Frederick-area community and the caliber it carries.  These are the people buried in the [critical] details who often usher projects through by pushing hard behind the scenes, letting others bask in the spotlight; the Maven Awards are for them.

         Every year a slew of creative professionals are nominated by their peers for the following Maven Award categories: Best Printer, Media Provider, Media Buyer, Ad Specialty Provider, Account Executive, Marketer, PR Professional, Event Planner, Copywriter, Social Media Professional and Photographer of the year. This year’s winners were awarded at the AAF-GF Summer Social, held at Vintage restaurant in New Market, as follows:


·       Copywriter of the year - Momina Kahn, Worx Graphic Design

·       Photographer of the year - Andrew Murdock, Natural Artistry Photography

·       Event Planner of the year - Heather Akers, Akers2Grow

·       Social Media Professional of the year - Brittany Diehl, Downtown Frederick Partnership

·       Media Buyer of the year - Erin Flynn, Love & Company

·       Marketer of the year - Nicole Hospelhorn, Love & Company

·       PR Rep of the year - Vanessa Wade

·       Printer Rep of the year - Karen Beaver [on behalf of] J&M Printing
