Artspace Warehouse expands affordable art gallery

LOS ANGELES - June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Artspace Warehouse expands its gallery at 7358 Beverly Boulevard, opening an additional 1,000 sq. ft. space next to the current 3,000 sq. ft. Los Angeles gallery to showcase affordable large-format artworks. The gallery expansion opens up new possibilities for better representation and increased visibility of the strong roster of international artists. It also increases the choices of locally significant as well as globally relevant artworks for the collectors.

Artspace Warehouse, a sister gallery of Kunstwarenhaus Zurich (Switzerland), opened in Los Angeles in 2010 and has since become a leading global art gallery. Artspace Warehouse owner Claudia Deutsch has been successfully discovering and exposing original, intriguing forms of expression by local emerging and mid-career artists and also helped introduce many European artists to the LA art scene. The gallery propels those artists to emerge on the global art market. With this approach she has attracted the attention of high profile Los Angeles collectors as well as an increasingly international art clientele.

"We had the idea for specialized gallery focusing on large-scale affordable art for about two years and when a new storefront became available on the same block, we jumped on it," said Deutsch. "Our clients expressed what they wanted and we made sure to provide that."

The expansion of the gallery allows the artists to continue forging long-standing, deep relationships with one another and with their buyers. It is also a way of attracting new artists. “The better artists you represent, the more recognition you get and additional collectors will follow” said Deutsch.

With an artist list that includes internationally collected Los Angeles mixed media artist Ron Piller, Los Angeles street artist Gary John, Swiss museum exhibited artist Edith Konrad, well-known German artists Bettina Mauel and Bernhard Zimmer, Dutch abstract figurative artist Gerdine Duijsens, LA conceptual photo artist Kate deLigne and world-wide exhibited Australian photo realistic artist Ross Tamlin, Claudia Deutsch has consistently sought out diverse artists working on the forefront of aesthetic, social and conceptual exploration.
