BARNSTAPLE, U.K. - June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Highbullen Hotel near Umberleigh in North Devon is to host a major vintage and artisan fair over the weekend of 11th and 12th July.  The ‘All Things Vintage and Lovely Summer Celebration’ is being organised by Miss Ivy Events, based in Tavistock, well known for its large scale vintage fairs held across the South West. This is the first time Miss Ivy Events has held a vintage fair in North Devon.

“We are very excited to be coming to North Devon, for our first show here,” said Jo Macaskie, Director of Miss Ivy Events. “We were asked to put on an event here and after the success of our fairs in other parts of the South West, and we are very happy to do this.  Highbullen Hotel is a stunning venue and perfect for our ‘Vintage and Lovely Summer Celebration’.”

“This is a very special event for North Devon, in a wonderful location,” added Rosemary Hallett, from Once Upon a Time Nostalgic Fairs based in South Molton, who is working with Miss Ivy Events. “Visitors will be able to see many of the South West’s best vintage and artisan businesses, some of whom have not exhibited in North Devon before.”

More than forty stallholders will be at the event, selling a wide range of vintage clothes, collectables and artisan crafts and gifts. Stallholders include Just Seven, Blue Ladybird Designs, Cath Herriott Vintage, Blue Lias, Posy Lime, Past and Presents, Vintage and Retro Clothing, Blueberry Glass, Rosie Quilts, Sew Ella, Philippa Potts Vintage, Lapin Gris, Gorgeous Old French Stuff, Sally Ann Floral Designs, Alice Maud, Crow’s Nest, Fenella Sadler and Becky Nichols. Also at the event will be Exmoor Huts from South Molton with their latest delightful shepherd hut designs.  Other attractions include live music from the City Steam Jazz Band and the Swing Kings, a hawk display with North Devon Hawk Walks and clay workshops with Tarka Pottery.  Entry costs £2 per person. The event is open from 10.30 am – 4.30 pm on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July. Free parking is available.
