Salty Summer Specials on Nantucket

BOSTON - June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- (Nantucket, MA)- This summer, MET on Main, located on Main Street in Nantucket, Massachusetts, is heating things up with a season long of dining specials. From live entertainment to late night burgers, MET’s summer series caters to locals and travelers alike.

Every Thursday beginning July 2nd, 2015 MET is offering guests Twin Lobster Thursdays from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. Guests can choose from four delectable lobster options, including Twin Scituate Lobsters, steamed or grilled, Salt & Pepper Fried Twin Lobsters with stir fried vegetables and MET ponzu sauce, Lobster Roll’s including fresh shucked Scituate lobster, green leaf lettuce and buttered rolls, or Lobster Mac n Cheese with four cheese and buttery bread crumbs, all for $24.99.

On Friday July 3rd, 2015, MET on Main is going to the dark side with its new Late Night Burger Special.  Every night from 10:00PM-11:30PM guests can order one of MET’s signature 5oz burgers for only $4.99 each. Served on a sesame seed bun, guests can choose from the Manhattan Burger with Swiss cheese, sautéed onions, bacon and mushrooms, the Mexico Burger with jack cheese, guacamole, fire-charred salsa, cilantro and jalapeno and the DC Burger with American cheese, red onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo. For a real late night treat, MET on Main is introducing its new Saltie Girl Burger, a wagyu burger, fried lobster, angry special sauce, B.L.T. and fries, available for $23.

It doesn’t stop at dinner. Every Friday and Saturday MET on Main will host live entertainment. Each Friday from 10:00PM-12:00AM diners can munch on MET’s fare and late night burgers while a DJ spins. On Saturdays from 9:30PM to 11:30PM local performer Sean Lee will entertain guests will his endless repertoire of songs, spanning in variety from the 1960’s to present day.  A Nantucket-based performer, Sean engages the audience by playing the guitar and harmonica while singing with a style compared to Tom Petty.  While enjoying,  guests can stay refreshed with any of MET’S signature cocktails, such as the Cucumber Mojito with crop cucumber, muddled mint and cucumber.
