June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- It is not a secret that used shoes do not refer to the garbage bins any longer, but to the clothing banks. However, have you ever asked yourself: “What happens to my second hand shoes and how they come to Africa?”  The Boex Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH is an international export company, who ensures that your used shoes will arrive to the place, where they can be used further by other people – also in Africa.

Used shoes from your shoes cupboard for shipping

Do not just through away old used shoes, but bring them to the clothing bank. In order to simplify the work of the staff, which is responsible for export, you should bundle your old shoes together. Simply lace up your second-hand-shoes together or wrap the related shoes together using sellotape or something similar.  The shoes will be loaded onto a collection truck and transported for further sorting to the local production facility. Here each and every shoe or rather every pair will be graded and classified into different quality categories. Placed together on a rolly your second hand shoes are waiting for their buyer.  Potential used shoes buyers are mostly coming from the country of destination, or target continent – Africa. Prices are based on a kilogram, whereby initially it will be traded exclusively based on the full container load. One 40-ft high cube container contains approximately 20.000 kg of used shoes. Unfortunately your old used shoes are not for free for the receiver, as the collection of second hand shoes, grading and recycling in Germany costs money and secure jobs.  Trading from Africa partners or their local delegations often travel over to inspect the goods prior conclude the contract. When an agreement agreed, used shoes are loaded into the overseas container and the transportation to Africa can also be arranged by one of the freight carriers.

Summary

Second hand shoes are allowed to look used. The consignees in Africa know our second hand shoes and are aware of what is worn in Europe. Also in Africa people want to wear decent clothes, though the wear marks are not considered as the deficit. Using the following checklist you can verify if your shoes can still please other people.

• Used Shoes must be thrown away in pairs.

• Laces should be, but not necessarily unbroken.

• Second hand shoes may look used.

• Used Shoes for Africa should be ready for use.
