The British are coming – to Orlando!

DAVENPORT, Fla. - June 22, 2015 - PRLog -- As well as attracting a record number of visitors, Orlando is picking up a host of travel accolades, including being voted the number one summer destination for UK visitors.

Britons love to holiday in Central Florida and Orlando is their number one destination, ahead of New York, according to the latest data from accommodation website, Kayak.co.uk. Bangkok came third.

The result reflects 2014 US visitor numbers, where Orlando has overtaken the big apple at the holiday hotspot, with a high of 62million.

At the end of May, Stansted Airport, in Essex, announced new flights to Orlando for 2016 on board Thomson Airways 787 Dreamliner. The plane burns a third less fuel than others, flight time is reduced by around half an hour and its features reduce the effects of jet lag, so holidaymakers arrive feeling fresh and ready to start their trip, say airline chiefs.

Of course, Florida has long been high on British holidaymakers’ and homebuyer lists, which is why there are so many UK buyers inquiring about purchasing Feltrim Group properties in and around Orlando.
