DAVENPORT, Fla. - June 19, 2015 - PRLog -- If you’ve ever fancied yourself as blockbuster adventurer Indiana Jones, then you must charter a plane and set off for the new Disney Springs entertainment area at Orlando.

The all-action hero and star of the thrilling series of hit movies, is the focus of a new themed, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, which is due to open in the fall at Disney Springs, the former Downtown Disney area – and turn us all into Indy!

As fans of the blockbuster Indy films will know, Jock is the pilot who helps Indy escape the angry natives at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark and is the owner of Reggie, a pet boa constrictor, which is one of the few things that scares the intrepid archaeologist.

The aviation-themed bar features elements from the Indiana Jones movies, including propeller ceiling fans, travel posters, a diving bell and other props and it also features Indy-themed cocktails, snacks and bar food, such as Rolling Boulder Meatballs.

The atmospheric restaurant, in between The Boathouse and Paradiso 37, will seat around 150 guests, who can also dine and drink outside in Jock’s docked steamboat, also called Reggie.

Garrett Kenny, Chief Executive Officer of leading Central Florida developer and agent, the Feltrim Group, says, “It sounds like so much fun. We can’t wait to try it! The Indy-themed bar is sure to be a big hit with visitors to Walt Disney World and Disney Springs.

“Whatever you like doing – relaxing by the pool in Feltrim’s luxury resorts, visiting world-class theme parks and water parks, testing your game on our championship golf courses, shopping in our superb malls or visiting themed restaurants like Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar – you’re sure to find it in Orlando.”

Also at Disney Springs is a waterfront Starbucks, next to the Characters in Flight balloon, which has sustainable elements, including an eye-catching green roof made of lemongrass fed on coffee composts.

The new store at Walt Disney World Resort has 100% energy-efficient LED lighting; reclaimed oak, maple and other materials used throughout the store and community tables made from salvaged trees that are 300-400 years old.

The special Starbucks includes an electronic chalk board that captures images from Orlando and Starbucks at the Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California and customers in both can connect on it.

The outlet is the only Starbucks in Florida to serve beer and wine through the Starbucks Evenings program after 4pm.
