PNBC Statement on Shootings at the Emanuel AME Church

WASHINGTON - June 18, 2015 - PRLog -- The entire Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. family expresses our profound sorrow and outrage at the dastardly shootings that occurred at the historical Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina served by Rev. Clementa Pinckney on June 17, 2015.

This is another tragic example of how the sin of racism has poisoned our society.

Our fervent prayers are with our AME brothers and sisters during such a time of great sorrow and grief. We pray that God will strengthen their leaders and give them wisdom at such a challenging time.
