Saratoga Springs, N.Y - On June 16, 2015, Dudestars, Inc. launched its first Kickstarter campaign, which aims to raise $16,000 in a 30-day period. Pending a successful campaign, the company plans to immediately begin selling its customizable, group-oriented reward charts on its website. The company is owned and operated by Tyler Mason, an experienced marketer and aspiring entrepreneur.

Dudestars reward charts, which are about the size of a standard poster, are self-adhesive and made from a durable vinyl. They are reusable and can be drawn on with dry-erase markers, which extends their longevity and adds a unique element of creativity to the product. The stickers currently featured on Kickstarter are “a unique mix intended to appeal to a broad audience,” says Mason. There are five variations, which include sunglasses, a video game controller, a football, a red solo cup, and the Dudestars logo. The company intends to expand this selection based on customer feedback.

Functionally, Dudestars are similar to the popular wall decals made by Fathead, LLC, but there are clear differentiators. “Dudestars are much more than a decoration. They’re interactive, and they aim to motivate people. I’ve seen first-hand the way they can drive competition among friends,” says Mason.

When asked who these charts are intended for, a mischievous smile appears on the founder's face.“I had a pretty amazing group of friends at Hobart (college), and this idea has been around since then.” Mason, who recently turned 30, recalls the origins of the Dudestars concept. “We would use the term to verbally award one another for our epic stories and accomplishments. I wish we had this reward chart back then.”

The company’s tagline? Appropriately, "For every star, an epic tale."
