In Home Pet Services, Inc. donates $1,500 in pet supplies to Road to Home Rescue Support!

June 17, 2015 - PRLog -- The 5th Annual ‘Mayday for Mutts’ held by Robyn Elman, President and founder of In Home Pet Services, Inc., (IHPS), is once again a great success collecting over $1,500 worth of pet products for Road to Home Rescue Support.  Pet products ranging from: leashes, crates, beds, collars, pet food, toys and more.  Mayday for Mutts is a month long pet product drive in May to collect and then donate much, needed pet products to a local rescue group.

Robyn Elman, founder and President of In Home Pet Services, Inc. said, “With our 5^th year of MayDay for Mutts it still excites me to be able to donate so many much needed pet products to one of our local rescue groups.” Elman went on to say, “Our clients, friends and our franchises really help out by collecting at their locations and then bringing it to us so we can donate it.  Rescue groups always need pet products to help them continue the great work that they do – we are happy to help.”

Each year a different rescue group is selected to receive the donation; it is a win-win and a green way to give back as well.  In the past five years, IHPS has collected and donated nearly $10,000 worth of pet products to 7 different rescue groups.   Robyn collects all the products at the IHPS location in Bellerose, N.Y., for the month long event and some of the franchisee locations also participate in the collection.
