Andrew Leggett Marks 30th Year of Jewellery Designing

LONDON - June 17, 2015 - PRLog -- It was back in 1985 when F&L member Andrew Leggett founded his business Aurum Jewellers and started dedicating his exceptional sense of creativity and style to designing and creating jewellery pieces which could capture those special moments in life. Before that, Andrew had already had 10 years of experience working with some of London’s most renowned jewellery designers including John Donald and Geoffrey Turk. Adding up these years too, Leggett is one of the most experienced members of the F&L Designer Guides community of bespoke engagement ring designers.

Andrew Leggett claims he has always been particularly drawn to making bespoke engagement rings, but also has a passion for creating wedding jewellery and eternity rings. The common factor in his work is that it aims to represent memorable happenings in the lives of his clients. Leggett says: “Milestones deserve to be celebrated with quality jewellery that will last a lifetime and beyond.”

This summer, Leggett commemorates the opening of Aurum Jewellers, which he has always regarded as being a jewellery design workshop which happens to have a retail outlet rather than a jewellery shop. Indeed, the craftsmanship and personal approach to the bespoke process comes first for this engagement ring designer, which is what makes him such a suitable member for the F&L Designer Guides. This community seeks to promote the bespoke experience to engagement ring shoppers in order to give couples the opportunity to end up with an engagement ring that is much more meaningful and personal than the usual High Street bling.

Aurum Jewellers is located near Brighton, on the South Coast, in Andrew’s home town of Worthing. Andrew Leggett started his business with no retail experience whatsoever, although he had been creating countless bespoke jewellery items by that time. His portfolio has grown massively over the years and the number of pieces he has created must add up into the thousands.
