WATERBURY, Conn. - June 16, 2015 - PRLog -- The board of directors of Acts 4 Ministry, Inc., a non-denominational, non-profit charitable organization serving the Greater Waterbury region, has welcomed a new member, Luke Florian of Southington, an entrepreneur, author and real estate investor in the Connecticut tri-state area and Florida. Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta, executive director of Acts 4 Ministry, Inc., commented, “As the owner of Freedom Enterprise Holdings LLC, which purchases apartment buildings and single family homes across Connecticut, Mr. Florian has been exceedingly impactful in providing donations of useful home goods and furniture from the properties the company purchases. It’s been a win/win relationship for Acts 4 Ministry and Freedom Enterprise Holdings, so it is an innate match to welcome Mr. Florian’s acclaimed entrepreneurial insights and notable successes to our board.”

Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. is dedicated to building relationships with people while providing them with the basics of daily living needs. “Our mission,” explained Carabetta, “is to provide individuals and families who have suddenly lost their homes to a fire, flood or other unexpected devastation or upsetting life event to come to our facility to personally select clothing, dishes, glassware, furnishings, and other basic needs at no charge.

We partner with churches, social service agencies, and public schools to help identify and serve people with these needs regardless of their faith, race, creed, or national origin, or their willingness to participate in religious activities.” Each year the organization distributes clothing to nearly 4,000 people plus over 1,000 pieces of furniture and house wares to people of varying income levels throughout the Greater Waterbury area.

“The organization,” continued Carabetta, “is growing very rapidly in donations and the number of people we serve on a daily, week-to-week basis. Collectively our board members bring an enormous wealth of intelligence, strength, and leadership which is highly instrumental in helping us achieve ongoing and increasing levels of growth. We are all community-minded, which provides tremendous insights into many aspects of the constantly changing needs of individuals and families throughout the Greater Waterbury region.”

Entrepreneur Luke Florian specializes in real estate investments and possesses extensive experience in asset management, capital raising, finance, business start-ups, project management, operations, and real estate brokerage. He has been involved with the purchase, sale and management of more than 250 properties during the past several years, including residential, mixed-use, and commercial assets. During that time, he has directly overseen 40 to 50 residential redevelopment projects each year in Connecticut, wholesaled assets to other investors, and actively participated in several joint ventures. Recently he was interviewed on the popular WDRC radio program “The Brad Davis Show” where he highlighted the benefits of services offered by his company Freedom Enterprise Holdings LLC (Freedomhousebuyer.com).

Florian’s Freedom Enterprise Holdings LLC purchases apartment buildings and single family homes in the Connecticut tri-state area and Florida. The company’s guiding theory is the purchase of undervalued properties with upside potential that add affordable housing options to communities. The company buys houses “as-is”, in any condition and price range, and close on the sellers’ timeline which provides sellers with options not available through conventional home selling methods. In 2014, Florian published his first book, "6 Figure Freedom" which became a best seller the first week it was posted on Amazon.com, and continues to sell with much success. The book enabled Florian to share his success story and has led to numerous opportunities for continued growth as an entrepreneur and investor.

Since January of 2015, Acts 4 Ministry has welcomed six new members to their board of directors and their first female chairwoman, Ellen Rogers of Cheshire. New board members in 2015 have included Eda Llulla, senior decision support analyst at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford; Susie Jones-Szoldra, LCSW, of Plymouth, and a staff member with DaVita Waterbury Heights; Peter Damore of Wolcott, a business project manager with Cigna insurance; Christine “Chrissy” Jones of Waterbury, print and marketing consultant with Sir Speedy Print & Marketing in Middlebury; Timothy J.
