Prior to joining U.S .Sugar, Ross was the Public Affairs Director for Glades Media Group--WAFC Classic Hits--keeping listeners abreast of current events and local issues. Her show Big Lake Now became a staple of WAFC Classic Hits morning show programming. She also worked for the Florida Department of Health as the program coordinator for Drug Free Hendry County, overseeing and implementing the activities of The Community Coalition to prevent underage substance abuse. During her tenure there, she became highly involved with local organizations and with the people of Hendry County. Sanchez said that Ross has been an active and committed member of our community. Most recently she was voted onto the Board of Directors for Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, one of the highest profile charities in Florida and in the United States. Ross is also a member of the LaBelle Rotary Club, president of the Leadership Hendry /Glades Class of 2012, and serves on the boards of the LaBelle Chamber of Commerce and the LaBelle High School Advisory Committee. Ross and her husband Vince have two girls (ages 6 and 3) and own Vince Ross’s Prestige Paint and Finish in LaBelle. In her free time, Ross likes to travel, read, and spend time with her family. Ross has performed in two plays at the Firehouse Community Theatre, and she is currently completing a Communications degree at Florida Gulf Coast University. End
