Business Wizard's One-Stop-Shop for Crisis-Hit Entrepreneurs Continues To Grow

HALE, U.K. - June 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Huge success in the vibrant financial worlds of Australia and South East Asia had enabled business wizard Glenn McDowall to relocate from Down Under to the leafy lanes of Cheshire and look forward to a more leisurely pace of life with his wife.

However, not long after arriving in the UK Glenn realised his unique business and financial know-how, based on 40 plus years of high-level corporate experience, was in huge demand by those beginning to feel the effects of what was to become the worst and longest Recession in living history.

Visitors to his consultancy, that would later became the Hale-based Global Advisory Group, were offered financial and business advice to help both entrepreneurs and lenders to cope with the financial challenges that had begun to close down once successful businesses.

It wasn’t long before GAG became a one-stop-shop for a growing number of crisis-hit entrepreneurs – both debtors and lenders - forcing Glenn to expand his expert staff to four, including a fully trained accountant as well as a Qualified Insolvency Practitioner, at his Hale-based office and supported by a network of suitably experienced solicitors and finance-brokers.

Eight years on Glenn and his team are celebrating the birth of a business idea that they believe has enabled a significant number of businesses to survive a financial crisis that is now, hopefully behind us.

“In the early days I remember two guys coming into the office to tell me they were looking for urgent advice to avoid their company going into Receivership. I told them I could stop that with a telephone call,” explained 64 years old Glenn. “They were understandably frightened by their situation, but my background enabled me to take a strategic look at the problem and find a solution.

“I’ve held senior posts in a variety of major businesses across Australia and South East Asia and latterly the UK and I have significant experience in all aspects of business finance. Today, I use that experience to help others. Whatever their problem, I have probably had experience of something like it in my 40 plus years in business.

“I hate to see people being bullied by big organisations and banks, so I continue to take on more of these cases. I guess word spread because the business continued to grow. We have helped a great many people and companies and continue to do so.”
