Atombank Books Releases Unique Early Reader by Amy Hauer

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - June 16, 2015 - PRLog -- On June 16, Atombank Books released Beneath Branches and Leaves, a book for preschoolers and early elementary students learning to read. The book features colorful paper cut-out art that encourages readers and their parents to search for hidden woodland creatures while improving reading skills. The 28-page book also celebrates and teaches children about the seasons as the animals hide themselves in spring foliage, bright fall leaves and more.

Beneath Branches and Leaves is initially being released as a Kindle ebook, with the print edition to follow in several weeks.

“The artwork holds up remarkably well in the electronic version,” says Amy Tombank, president of Atombank Books. “It manages to capture the vibrant colors of the plants and animals and everything in between.”

The book uses repetitive phrasing to help young readers recognize and remember words while teaching them that the seasons also repeat in a predictable pattern. It’s hoped that children will develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them while encouraging them to look for birds other backyard animals in the trees and bushes near their home.

Beneath Branches and Leaves is the second early reader published by Atombank Books. Earlier this year, the company published Amy Hauer’s two books-in-one Emily Grace Goes Pumpkin Picking/Emily Grace Goes Apple Picking.
