Rotary Club of Bangalore honours Shri. M. Annadurai with the ‘Citizen Extraordinaire Award 2015’

BANGALORE, India - June 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Rotary Club of Bangalore (RCB), an Eighty year old and second largest in India, is part of 106 year old Rotary International, proudly present, ‘The Citizen Extraordinaire Award – 2015’ to Shri. M. Annadurai, Indian Space Research Center (ISRO) who contributed a lot to major space missions, “Chandrayaan” and “Mangalyaan”.

Dr. M. Annadurai, Director, ISAC, has been conferred for this prestigious award for his immense contributions in the field of science and aerospace. He joined ISRO in the year 1982 as the team leader in ISAC. He was the lead member of ISRO’s satellite mission team and managed a group of eight as the Mission Director and brought about successful completion of the satellite operations. The commitment and dedication he shows to complete a mission with commitment is something that inspires young minds to follow his path of success.

Amongst the many prestigious awards RCB bestows to the deserved awardees like the Corporate Citizen Award, the Women of Substance Award, Pride of Workmanship Award, the ‘Citizen Extraordinaire Award’ is presented annually to those individuals who have tirelessly worked for the various causes and improvements and making sure the society is a better place to live in. this award was instituted over 30 years ago.
