Umniah Launches Its ‘Umniah Al Khair’ Ramadan Campaign Signs Deal with Talal Abu Al Ragheb

AMMAN, Jordan - June 16, 2015 - PRLog -- On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and out of its belief in the importance of sharing the joy with Jordanians during the month, Umniah launched its ‘Umniah Al Khair’ Ramadan campaign on Monday and announced the launch of an album containing pieces of spiritual music by prominent Jordanian Composer Talal Abu Al Ragheb.

The new album, dubbed “Sakanta Qalbi”, is the result of new cooperation between Umniah and well-known Composer Talal Abu Al Ragheb who produced several pieces of spiritual music that fits the Ramadan atmosphere.

The launch of the album was announced during a signing ceremony held by Umniah at its VIP ULounge in Abdoun in Amman, where Umniah also announced the start of its ‘Umniah Al Khair’ Ramadan campaign, which includes a series of initiatives that fall under its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The initiatives, which will be held throughout Ramadan, reflect Umniah’s sense of belonging to its community and corresponds with its firm belief in the importance of giving back to and positively engaging with community and helping those in need.

Umniah stressed the importance of the new collaboration with the Jordanian Composer Talal Abu Al Ragheb for producing the new album that the company will present on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, which is a true testimony to Umniah’s belief in spreading the culture of peace and valuing the spiritual environment of Ramadan.

During Ramadan, Umniah will distribute food packages to families in the Kingdom’s directorates, hold iftar banquets for the orphans, implement several income-generating projects for individuals and communities across the country, especially in the poverty pockets with a view to ensure sustainability and provide them with a permanent source of income and help them turn their ideas into sustainable projects.

Commenting on the occasion, Umniah's Corporate and Marketing Communications Manager Rania Abu Khader said Umniah has been always keen over the years to support distinguished art and Jordanian talents such as Composer Talal Abu Al Ragheb.

The outcome of cooperation between Umniah and Talal Abu Al Ragheb is the launch of an album in Ramadan, she said.

Abu Khader emphasized Umniah’s commitment to implement a series of initiatives in Ramadan to help the needy families in continuation of its efforts in this respect.

For his part, Jordanian Composer Talal Abu Al Ragheb underlined the importance of the new album, which contains several pieces of spiritual music that is in harmony with the Ramadan atmosphere, highlighting Umniah’s key support to art and Jordanian talents out of its belief in the important message of art.

Talal Abu Al Ragheb is an award-winning Jordanian Composer who received several local and international awards including the Queen Rania Award for Creative Jordanians. He produced several albums composed music for several Arabic drama, plays, documentaries, movies and kids songs as well as concerts in different cultural areas across the world.
