Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families helps bring Sweet Dreamzzz to children

 
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - June 15, 2015 - PRLog -- The Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families is once again assisting local nonprofit organization, Sweet Dreamzzz, Inc., in serving youth in the form of sleep education and bedtime essentials. The foundation recently donated $1,000 in the form of a grant to be used for the materials necessary to provide the Sweet Dreamzzz Early Childhood Sleep Education Program™ at Farmington Community School.

The Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families promotes the growth of organized philanthropy that enriches the quality of life in the communities of Farmington and Farmington Hills.

The funding provided by the Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families will be used to purchase the following materials: Sweet Dreamzzz teddy bears, cardboard box “beds” and felt “blankets” for the children to practice their newly learned, healthy bedtime routines, toothbrushes and toothpaste to promote overall sleep health and hygiene, bedtime routine charts and stickers to reinforce the lessons learned in the classroom and bedtime routine magnets.

Founded in 1998, Sweet Dreamzzz™, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to improving children’s health, well-being and academic performance by providing sleep education and bedtime essentials to economically disadvantaged students and their families. Based in Farmington Hills, Mich., Sweet Dreamzzz educates children and families about the benefits of healthy sleep habits and establishing a healthy bedtime routine using its Early Childhood Sleep Education Program™, the Parent Sleep Education Workshop™ and the R.E.M.
