Follow on Google News | Chairman created Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of the Commonwealth of KentuckyPaul Borrow-Longain, Chairman of the Borrow-Longain Foundation, has been created an Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Appointments are made by the sitting Governor and Secretaray of State of the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the United State of America for services to charity or other good deeds to communities. Nominations are received by the public, normally a Kentucky Colonel, reviewed and a recommendation is placed before the Governor for rejection or approval. From the moment of the signing of the document appointing an Aide-de-Camp the named person is entitled to the style of 'Honourable' as a senior member of the Governors staff and the honoury rank of 'Colonel'. They also become members of the Honourable Order of Kentucky Colonels which is a charitable organisation whos members each year provide significant amounts of donations to good causes.
