New look and a complete database for classical music in the MusiCHI Suite V5.0

NEW CITY, N.Y. - June 12, 2015 - PRLog -- MusiCHI Suite, the 4-in-1 application (Library Manager, Tagger, Ripper & Player) dedicated to classical, jazz and other data-intensive genres of music, has launched a new release. MusiCHI Suite ©® Version 5.0 has acquired a completely new look, thanks to the skinning engine that has been added to the player. Now, the user can choose from 20 different skins, dark and light. Thumbnails have also been added to the playing queue, enabling the user to see graphically what is playing and from what album.

The new version of MusiCHI Suite is not improved only in looks, though. Considerable work has been done on the Suite’s reference database MusiCHI Clean©®, considered by many as its competitive advantage, together with the feature-rich tagger. The complete catalog of compositions of the 125 most popular composers (about 26,000 compositions) is included, together with over 7,500 composers from early renaissance to contemporary music. Moreover, many performers have been added, now counting over 12,000 in classical music and 165,000 in jazz. The user can also find improvements in the other applications of the Suite, such as the tagger and the ripper, features that have been added to facilitate the search and make cataloguing more efficient. MusiCHI Suite is available in 2 versions: MusiCHI Studio (price 39 €), which includes the four applications (Player, Ripper, Tagger, Library Manager) and MusiCHI Ultimo (price 49 €), which apart from the four applications, includes also the Portable Edition, a unique application that allows the user to transport and play all his digital music library on any other PC without any further configuration than plug a USB drive. MusiCHI Tagger is also available separately as a stand-alone product (price 19 €), for those who just want to edit and normalize their audio tracks’ metadata.
