The Newport Beach Party Kicks Off June 26th at the Newport Dunes Resort

ANAHEIM, Calif. - June 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Newport Beach, California, June 5, 2015– Beach Party, LLC and Rotary International announce the first Newport “Beach Party” – A Celebration of Community.  The event will take place at the Newport Dunes Resort from June 26^th through June 28^th. The 3-day event aims to bridge the gap between the general public and the myriad community charities in the area. In doing so, this event introduces an innovative new method of generating funds for the charities. Numerous charities are involved in the event including Rotary International, Doc in a Box, Orangewood PALS, AYUDA International and Host Town Newport Beach Special Olympics LA2015 to name a few.

“I’m so thrilled to be a part of this great event to celebrate our amazing community while supporting all of our wonderful charities,” states Steve Bender, President Elect, Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary and Co-Chair, Newport Beach Host Town Committee for Special Olympic World Games.

The Newport Beach Party 3-day event will launch Friday night at 6pm with a tasting event featuring wines from the Newport Beach Invitational Wine Competition. Participants will sample wines nominated by local and national wine professionals.

Entertainment will be provided by award winning trumpet player and jazz singer Ilya Serov. Ilya was recently named the “Best New Artist of the Year” at the Hollywood International Entertainment Awards, so is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Ilya is best known for his dazzling trumpet solos, smooth vocals, and his own arrangements of jazz standards as well as original compositions influenced by jazz, R&B, pop and world music.

Participants at the first night of this summer cocktail style event will experience incredible food and wine from some of the finest wineries and local restaurants. Tickets to the event are $95 and include unlimited pours with over 100 wines to choose from, gourmet food tasting and entertainment. VIP tickets are available at an additional cost.

The Saturday lineup will include the Kansas City Barbeques Society’s sanctioned, Newport Beach BBQ Competition, Orange County Beer Competition and Tasting,

and OC Band Competition presented by KX93.5.  Sunday’s festivities include a wide selection of International foods to sample from local restaurants and food trucks, Special Olympics Torch Run and Lighting Ceremony, Host Town Awards with Celebrity Co-Chairs, Terry Donahue and John Robinson hosting a UCLA and USC Fundraising Challenge for Special Olympics, more craft beer and wine tasting, and plenty of local music.
