Two women receive scholarships to NAWBO

PHOENIX - June 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Two local women business owners, Brenda Newhouse andWendy McClellan, each were awarded a Women’s Enterprise Foundation (WEF) one-year membership to the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Phoenix Chapter. The membership includes tickets to all monthly meetings, NAWBO Universities, and special events.

WEF is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that supports and inspires emerging women business owners within the greater Phoenix area with scholarships and grants that enable them to further their education, leadership skills and opportunities.

Newhouse is owner of Newhouse Studios Web Strategy (http://webstrategyaz.com/), a consultancy that helps businesses make their online presence better so they can reach their goals by directly connecting with their preferred audience through intelligent and efficient techniques suited to their unique vision. She works with clients to establish a new web site or re-work their current website to be more in alignment with their business goals or current standards.

McClellan’s company, Structure for Success (http://structure4success.com/), works with small business owners who are feeling overwhelmed with their employee relations. She specializes in Human Resource consulting, assisting small business owners with tasks such as reviewing employee HR files, handling questions on documenting employee’s performances, general HR questions and in some cases employee communication.
