Local Author Wins First Place in Writing Contest

MUKILTEO, Wash. - June 8, 2015 - PRLog -- “Edmonds nonprofit literary organization EPIC Group Writers announced winners of its annual writing contest, including first place winner Mindy Halleck (adult) for The Frenchman.”The awards ceremony and reading of the winning stories took place at the Edmonds Library May 28th.
‘The Frenchman’ is available to be read on the EPIC website. www.epicgroupwriters.com EPIC holds an annual competition for fiction, non-fiction, YA and adult writers.
Halleck will be teaching 2 writing workshops on August 9th at the Willamette Writers Conference in Portland OR.
